Henry has been diagnosed with Human Growth Hormone Deficiency. We've known about it for a couple of months now, but really for the last year or so Matt and I knew that his growth wasn't following a normal pattern. It took this move to Colorado and a little bit of a honesty with ourselves to pursue a diagnosis and treatment. The last seven months of testing can't be summed up in the 4 sentences that I just wrote, but the bottom line is we have a path ahead and most important, Henry is happy and healthy. This is just a small (no pun intended) bump in the road.
If you're interested, this is a great article on HGH Deficiency. This was the first article I found on it and the best one by far. It describes Henry to a tee...

All that being said, Henry is doing great. He's taken on the responsibility of his daily injections and he's owned it. His first injection was on 17 April 2017. I measured him that night and decided to measure him once a month after that....
Height growth in one month a three days.
Looks like we've got a growing Bean on our hands!
